I know the end of that lyric is supposed to be, “easy.”

In the Central Valley, we often substitute synonyms for “hot.”

• Scorchin’
• Hellacious
• Too darn hot
• Flamin’

I hope to be escaping some of that this week. As this posts, I’ll be out of town with my delightful daughter and two adorable grand-daughters. We’ll be relaxing and frolicking and having a good old-fashioned vacation.

Enjoying sun, sand, and Legoland.

Hopefully without the flames that surrounded the area just a few weeks ago. We’d like to leave all that kind of heat behind.
